Joseph Thorowgood

I am pleased to introduce myself as the Assistant Principal for Teaching and Learning and I am very much looking forward to being part of the WSF community. Originally from England, I graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2013 and after some time working in other industries, I trained as a teacher with the goal to help shape the future of children and young adults. I gained my PGCE from the University of Roehampton and, more recently, have graduated from University of Buckingham with a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Management. I arrived in the UAE four years ago via Melbourne, and have been privileged enough to hold several key leadership positions in both British Curriculum and International Baccalaureate schools. I am delighted to be part of the WSF team, and I am excited to occupy a role that enables me to promote growth within the whole WSF community.
