Neil Maidment

Neil brings over 14 years of teaching experience across a range of educational settings in the UK, Spain, and the UAE. He has held roles of Assistant Headteacher, Senior Leader of Education, Lead for Teaching and Learning, Headteacher, and currently Deputy Headteacher at GEMS WSF.

Neil holds a qualification in NPQSL and is also a qualified trained inspector, reflecting his commitment to maintaining high educational standards and continuous improvement. His leadership philosophy is rooted in the belief that education should nurture both academic success and personal growth, ensuring that every child feels valued, inspired, and empowered in their learning journey. His international experience, particularly in the UAE, has sharpened his ability to create inclusive and dynamic learning environments, with a strong emphasis on student well-being and academic excellence.
